If you are looking for a detailed history of British Field Security Services, the World War 2 British version of counterintelligence, this is not it. This book is more a series of vignettes and remembrances of those who served. Although it is entertaining and informative in it’s own way it is definitely not in the league of something such as Operation Mincemeat by Ben McIntyre.
